Karen Andrews
Karen Andrews has over 10 years of experience working with students in grades 7 to adult. With an extensive background in Science, Education, and Technology, she has been a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta, and a consultant with the Alberta Minister of Education. Her post graduate work includes "Train the Trainer" professional development programs at the Sparkman Institute in Denver, Co and research investigating new Learning Technologies at the University of Alberta.
Currently with Edmonton Public Schools, Ms. Andrews Coordinates Business and Technology Partnerships and the TeleLearning Centre at J. Percy Page High School. Her recent awards include the Edmonton SMART City award for SMART Partnerships and the Imperial Oil National Centre for Math, Science and Technology Education Award. Ms. Andrews' current publication on Collaborative TeleLearning is featured in the October 2000 issue of ASCD Educational Leadership.
